I envy their months of freedom but not their choice of how to spend it. If I were fortunate to have that many months of free time I wouldn't spend it hiking GA-ME. I like to pretend that I have more imagination, but I know I just have different priorities.

The second week of April will see me boarding two stowaways. One is Terry7 has been here all winter and will be hiking out in May sometime and the other is a great friend of mine that is coming back from Wales and staying just long enough to re-up for his Visa so he can return. He is trying to get permanent residence there. But by golly I think we should be able to get a feed on..............These guys as well as myself love hikers too.........

Nobody asked Matt's companions permission to write about their hike, that's been pointed out by a couple of other people. It's none of our business, it's not our right. Their privacy should be protected. I'm ashamed that I was the first to write that Matt would have travelling companions. I shouldn't have mentioned it. I haven't named any of them but I now know I wrote too much after 8PM one night. Bad Dances, Bad! Lesson learned.
