    Thumbs up I'll second that!

Mountain Squid packed in S'mores fixins and cold Cokes for 3 miles or so to meet us on July 4th at Watauga Lake Shelter. Sure didn't have to do that, but did it on his own. What a nice surprise!

Mountain Squid gets a "thumbs up" vote from me and my daughter too.

He was also great help with directions around Watauga Lake, not exactly an easy place to understand, based on the map.

Hey congrats on your thru... Me and Marje met you on top of South Twin... Thanks for saving her knees on our last 2 days, made it much better for her to tie bandannas around them. Happy Trails and good luck on the PCT

I had the pleasure of meeting Mountain Squid when I was section hiking with my brother (Iceman GA>ME 07) and enjoying Mountain Squid's "trail magic". A nice encounter with a pleasant gentleman!
