The difference is, if you told us you were going to be leaving for a few months, to go climb Everest, you might actually come back having done it. Just not in a minute.

If you really wanted to make it impressive, you would have done with without supplemental oxygen, barfoot while riding a unicycle and juggling all the while singing a rousing chorus of "I'm a little teapot.".

I lost a bet at work not too long ago and had to sing that at the nurse's station at shift change. Complete with arm motions. I'm still scarred.

More than you'd think, given how many kittens must get snuffed every second.

Backwards and blindfolded. Sherpas? We don't need no stinking sherpas!

    This thread is cute.

Cowboy - put up or shut up. How about you don't get pissed off at any more posts until AFTER you've hiked a 70 mile day or three? I hope you can do it...but talking about it won't get you there. Get off the computer and make it happen.

Hooch, the illuminati are watching. Don't bring up the juggling again if you know what's good for you. Might be something about this in the archives...or maybe they've already purged it. Who knows...just be careful.

There is a small group of disgruntled posters that started that rumor. I think they told you that just to make you mad - but I can assure you it isn't true.

    Good luck.

Thought I asked a bunch of legitimate questions. Guess the athlete in question didn't wanna answer them.

    Why am I not suprised.....

That is about what I was thinking...

If you are trying to set a record then shoot under the current one and then get the gravy where you can, not claim the meat and the gravy before even starting the meal.
