    Question is the shelter open

    I contacted GA's 800 # about camping in Amicalola. The individual said that the park was running renovations and the campgrounds weren't open.

    DOES anyone know if this means the pre- approach trail, shelter is closed or is it still open?

    The shelters are always open and free. They're referring to the cabins and lodge as far as reservations.
