Maby you should change your name to a symbol, it worked for prince. I suggest a teardrop.

I hiked with an Iceman in 02'. He was from Maine, great guy. I don't know of another jersey joe on the trail ever, but I did meet a boston joe on the trail. I actually wasn't aware when I chose the name that there was a boxer in the 50's with the same name(jersey joe walcott). He's the famous one, i'm the poser.

I have always made up my own "trailname". I have finally had one "given to me", at work. Its great. Funny. I wonder if others have used it on the trail-"Super Dave". I guess there is some TV show or something with a Super Dave?? Is he a good character or a schmo, chump, moron, idiot or what? :-)

At work? That's like making up your own. True trail names are given, WF said so.
