NOBO- April 4th.......
Hey y'all! I'm taking the bus from Austin, Texas to get into Gainesville on April 16; I booked the ticket this morning. I can't wait to meet everyone. I've been looking forward to this trip since my first trip into the Smokies in 1997... I obviously put it off too long!
No trail name yet, but I look forward to getting initiated.
Be safe, and happy trails.

I'll be guy muttering to myself, swiping at the air randomly and looking around with a crazy look in my eye. Oh, don't forget drool, lots of drool.
See ya Saturday!!!

It's looking like March 30-31 for me.

Will be at the hostel 26th or 27th, without seeing maps or with much of a plan. In very poor shape but have started long hike badly before and finished. I know so little about the terrain and I have no maildrops.
All company welcome, especially sherpas, pack mules etc...
