Sierra has a bug screen/tent made by Slumberjack for 14.99. Looks to have a tarp bottom and screen netting for the top. Weighs in @ 19oz including 2 poles. Looked interesting and pretty cheap. It was on the 30-70% web bargains. Maybe scavenge the top for Hammock cover or.....

I saw that too. Looks like a good deal for summer treks. Heck, getting mosquito netting alone can cost $10 and then you gotta devise some way to make it into a tent.

Are we talking about Sierra Trading Post. If you are I looked on that site and could not find the bug screen/tent made by Slumberjack. Could someone provide me a link here or in a PM that goes directly to that page.

Sorry, I couldn't go on-line last nite as we had storms in my area.
The item # is 798893-99 and the descripton is listed as follows

I called and they told me the number that you gave of 798893-99 is a order number. I need the item number. They did not know what I was talking about when I told them it was a SLJ Insect Dome Asst by Slumberjack . They said it was most likely all sold out but without an item number they could not find it.

You're right, they gave me the wrong #. However, I called and the correct # was79893- but they are out of stock. Maybe call and double check.

Alternatively, go to Campmor and look at the $27 Repel brand SleepScreen. It weighs less than a pound and rolls up the size of a compact umbrella. I noticed that the SlumberJack screen was missing from the website too right after I delayed putting a web order in for it. Good cheap stuff goes fast folks!
