Permethrin on clothes, deet on skin. I tuck my pants in my socks (when it's cool) and when it's warm and I'm wearing shorts, I just check my legs on a regular basis. I had symptoms of Lyme disease back in the 90's and was treated even though the test came back "inconclusive".
Permethrine, like deet, is an ingredient, not a brand, so look for it in Sawyer products as well as other well-known brands.
As I live, declares the Lord God, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn back from his way and live. Ezekiel 33:11
