NOBO starting April 1/2

So I'm getting ready to head down to springer and am planning on doing the approach trail on April first, but may be the second depending on the car ride plus lodging for me and my folks, just looking to see who else is starting around there and hopefully run into each other down the trail.

You’ll see that 56 hikers are registered to start an April 1 and 37 on the 2nd. I’m sure you’ll meet someone in the line up somewhere!!

Hi,
I am going Amtrak March 31 arriving 4/1 and on to the lodge then either start the approach trail or yogi a ride to the parking lot of 4/2 so yes starting 4/2 hope to see you.

looking at those NoBo numbers in March & April
fairly typical each year
the AT shelters and campsites in GA will be packed
have fun and good luck
I had thought about heading up in March or April, but will wait til later

That is a super interesting project, but his data is 2000-2016, and certainly seems like there are more flip flops, early starters and other bubble avoidance hikes nowadays.
