    Default NOBO starting April 1/2

So I'm getting ready to head down to springer and am planning on doing the approach trail on April first, but may be the second depending on the car ride plus lodging for me and my folks, just looking to see who else is starting around there and hopefully run into each other down the trail.

    Check out this website

You’ll see that 56 hikers are registered to start an April 1 and 37 on the 2nd. I’m sure you’ll meet someone in the line up somewhere!!

This interactive graphic shows where the biggest crowd of hikers are on a given date based on historical data. Use the slider, or buttons, to select a date. It gives an idea where the crowds are for a given date.

That is a super interesting project, but his data is 2000-2016, and certainly seems like there are more flip flops, early starters and other bubble avoidance hikes nowadays.
