Default Calling frozen head state park hikers

I'm squeezing in a 1.5 day father's day hike in this weekend at Frozen Head State Park.

I've never been at Squire Knob campsite or hiked bird mountain trail.
FHSP website says squire knob does not have a water source, and the ridge-following trail seems to have no water based on my map.

I faintly remember on north bird mountain trail there being a water source by Bald Knob, and the map supports this claim showing a water branch nearby. This would be about a 0.5mi detour.
Does anyone know of any reliable water sources other than that one on bird mountain trail?

It appears from my research that I will attempt to find water at Bald Knob but worst case just pack up 3L.
I'll report back on water sources I find and document them here for future googlers.
