Food or box mailing spot just North of Damascus.
I'm section hiking out of Damascus North.
Is there a spot to mail a food box to or buy at - around route 81.
And about how many days hike would that be?

81 is Atkins/Groseclose. There are two gas stations, one with a Mexican restaurant and a motel at the crossing. It's about five miles back to Atkins where there is a Dollar General and a post office. Another ten back to Marion where there is a Walmart and grocery stores.

Relax Inn, immediately to west when you cross RT11/Lee Highway, accepts resupply boxes. (always prudent to call ahead to confirm)
I stayed there on my section. Laundry, hot water, room was 'eh' but my expectations were not high and I'm not too picky. Since I stayed, they did not charge me to hold resupply box, but if you do not stay they may charge a small fee. ~5.5 days I think.
