Former game warden named new director of Baxter State Park

Former longtime game warden Kevin Adam has been appointed as the director of Baxter State Park, the park’s leadership announced Tuesday.

Adam replaces Eben Sypitkowski, who stepped down from the position in February 2022. The Baxter State Park Authority did not identify a suitable candidate during its first nationwide search and readvertised the job beginning last December.

Thanks for sharing TJ! I had a good interaction with the acting director during my visit to Baxter last year. I'm sure its a tough job and wishing Kevin Adam good luck!

Unfortunately more thana little bit late in season for changes. I wonder if they will fix the bug with the reservations?. I also wonder if the acting director is going to be around for the long term.
