    Default Where is the bubble?

A buddy and I are looking at a few places down south to do an 8-10 day section, leaving next week or the week after. We would like to avoid the thru hiker bubble if possible. Can anyone give me an idea of where the bubble is currently?

The linked map shows where hiker bubbles are by month and date based on historical data. It doesn’t show what is happening in the current year, but nonetheless gives a good idea of where to expect bubbles.

That is a super nifty site! Thanks for sharing!! I imagined stuff like this exists a lot more nowadays than when I was first attempting to plan a thru-hike. It's so amazing the resources available now.
