Default Camping at Rattlesnake Spring NJ & DWG backpacker site

Was wondering if anyone knows if camping is feasible at Rattlesnake Spring NJ? Also, took a day hike yesterday going up the Douglas Trail to the DWG Backpacker Site. The site is supposed to be dry. But along the trail just below the site was a good running spring. Has anyone else seen it running? It's been very wet here this winter & I wonder if it dries up in the summer.

    Thanks a Bunch

PS: I think NJ (born & bred) must hold some kind of title for establishing campsites & shelters where no water source exists. Just sayin'......

There are no campsites next to the spring itself but if you go about 0.1 mi down the dirt road next to the spring (to the right if going NOBO) there's a huge campsite with room for probably 20 tents next to a bend in the road. I'm not sure if it's a legal campsite, but it's pretty obvious that lots of people have camped there before. I camped there on my section hike, because you're right - the water sources in NJ suck for the most part.
It's all good in the woods.
