Default Lee MA to October Mtn Shelter campsites?

Any suitable campsites near water source located between Hwy 20 and October Mountain Shelter? Nothing shows in AWOL.

MA does not allow dispersed camping on the AT, so there aren't any camping areas between Rt 20 and the October Mountain Shelter (approximately 7 miles and change from Rt 20). There are a few water sources like Finnety Pond and a few other small marsh ponds along the way. It's hard to say what streams and brooks will be charged and running when you go, currently there are no drought warnings for Western MA, but lack of rain can change that pretty quick.

Water at October Mountain shelter is "undeveloped" but I don't know how robust Watson brook flow is these days, which I believe is the water source for the camping area. Keep an eye on rainfall and if there is a doubt, water up a mile or two south of the site.
