    Default Brink Road Shelter currently closed

    New Jersey – Shelter Closure – Brink Road Shelter | Appalachian Trail Conservancy

    Brink Road Shelter (NOBO mile 1,321.8) is closed for camping and access to water. The bear showed no fear of humans and reportedly entered the shelter.

    Not a good thing at any shelter, but especially that one, with the stairs to one side. Too bad, as it is a great spot SOBO to sleep off a few beers and fried food at Gyps.
