    Apparently, that is the problem, no one knows who he is and the only things found on him was his clothes. No mention of a pack being found.

    If he left a car anywhere around there it would have been discovered by now. So, I'm guessing he had some sort of backpacking or camping gear and traveled on foot. Or he was dropped off for the day and was digging for something he shouldn't have been.

    This is total speculation on my part... People can get pretty paranoid about ginseng patches, and harvesting ginseng in Chattahoochee is illegal...
