Default Replacement leg for MSR PocketRocket 2 stove

I am looking for a single replacement leg for a MSR PocketRocket 2 stove. It has been a great stove. I bent one of the legs (my fault) and while it still works with a slight tilt after bending the leg back, would like to get it fixed.

I contacted MSR support and was told they could not sell a replacement leg, rather I had to send the stove in for leg replacement. There is a single screw attaching the leg, but apparently it must be tightened to a specific degree or could cause problems later. I am willing to take the chance that I can attach the screw with the correct torque. I certainly understand liability issues and this is their policy, but can't see shipping a $45 stove across the country and back for this type of repair.

So, wondered if anyone knew of a place to purchase parts? Or had a broken stove with a good leg they would sell for a reasonable price?

Just send it. They are the ones that can do a better job. They are the manufacturer. If they do it wrong it's their problem. Just make sure there is some warranty.

Since we're talking about something well less than $45, I'd just buy a new one... BackCountry.com has them for $38

I see what you did there. Calling a pot support arm a 'leg'.
.....Someday, like many others who joined WB in the early years, I may dry up and dissapear....

You could have one made on a 3D printer out of stainless or aluminum or have one machined from a plasma cutter. Probably 20 bucks.

Post a picture, Mine came bent and I repaired it myself. If it is the same bend then it can be fixed. My 2 cents.

Repair it yourself and then it won't cost and arm or a leg. ;-)
