    Has the Mt Washington Summit Building cafeteria re-opened, post-COVID closure ?

    Yes, Evey indication is unless there is major flare up of Covid it will be business as usual on the summit. Of course that is assuming that they can find enough people to work there. Both the observatory and the state park operations are currently advertising for employees in an incredibly tight local job market. The observatory even offers their employees the right to stay at the summit during their shift.

    I ate there 7SEP2021. Everything seemed pretty normal to me.

    The owner of the Cog Railroad is planning big changes adjacent to the summit, he is going to have rail cars built with overnight accommodations that will be parked on Cog owned land just north of the summit. The cars will be pulled up in the spring and moved down in the late fall. The cog has not yet applied for permits so highly unlikely anything will change this year but if it happens it will change operations at the summit substantially.
