    Default Starlyte With An Attitude

    Burns fiercely using 10 grams of esbit to boil 2 cups. The stove is based on the Starlyte design with integrated stainless steel pot support. Stove weighs 6 grams.

    How about coming up with some esbit that doesn't have that offensive smell?

    When I first came up with the Starlyte stove I made a storage container for it. That same storage container will be used with my new creation to contain the smell of the stove while not being used.

    I respect the power of esbit but despise the odor that comes off it as soon as the package is opened. Some folks out there say they don't smell anything when using it.

    I made an indention on the bottom of the stove to keep the esbit centered. When an esbit cube gets really hot it starts to melt and will slide all over the bottom.
