    Default Pearisburg area parking

I'm hoping to park north of town off Clendennin Rd. Can anyone advise me about the church and the wellness center there. Are they friendly to AT hiker parking?

If not, any advice where to park?

That's not nearly as convenient for where the AT actually crosses the road. I'm still hoping someone has insight on the church or wellness center. At worst, I'll call them but I wondered if there was a secret handshake or something.

When I hiked through that section I parked at the Farm Bureau. It's only 200 ft or so from the trail.

Thank you! I did reach out to the Wellness Center there and they said it was good to park. Glad to know there are options!

When I hiked that section, I also parked at the Wellness Center. When I finished my hike, I asked if I could purchase a day pass just to use the shower. They let me shower for free. It’s always nice to clean up before the long drive home.

I actually parked at the cemetary parking 2 or 3 years ago, left my jeep window down the entire 3 day weekend and came back, nothing was touched. So it is hit or miss there.
