I concur. Same experience. Was contemplating spending the night, but after I used the bathroom, I decided to upgrade and hiked up the ridge to the AT shelter.

It's a historic but neglected old building that either needs a wrecking ball or a big cash infusion.

Wow, that looks nice! Maybe I'll actually consider stopping in Duncannon next year rather than passing through as quickly as possible.
