Question Campsite North of Seth Warner Shelter in Vermont?

I'm leading a section hike in the next couple of weeks in this area, and the shelters don't break very well for a one-night trip between MA 2 (North Adams, MA) and Vermont Route 9 (Bennington). This will leave us a long last day, which is a bit inconvenient.

Guthook lists a beaver pond outlet 3.0 miles north of the shelter, and some people report getting water and camping there. This doesn't strike me as prime camping for three tents, especially after a wet summer.

Is it, or something nearby, a reasonable campsite?

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure this is Sucker pond outlet at 8.4 miles north of MA/VT line. Don't remember if there was a clear enough spot to tent near-by.

I camped at a beaver dam north of seth warner shelter when I was headed northbound. At a place looking similar to Slos pic above, and there was a campsite for 2-3 tents at the pond.

Thank you both, you confirm what is on Guthook, a site for 2-3 tents.

We'll have 3, making it adequate. But it will be a Friday night, increasing the possibility of someone being there already.

We completed the hike last weekend, and decided to stay at Seth Warner Shelter. Made for a very long last day.
