Trail Conditions from Mt. Rogers to Pearisburg, VA

Interested in trail conditions (particularly vegetation overgrowth and water sources cited in the WBPs) for the Mt. Rogers to Pearisburg, VA section. Had some rough overgrowth sections north of Pearisburg in 2019 and was wondering how things are this summer south of Pearisburg.

We went through there the beginning of the month and I don't recall any significant overgrowth. There are of course some areas where the occasional branch has made it way into the trail space but other than that, growth had not encroached onto the trail.
