Hi,

If I see an item that I am interested in, how do I send the seller a private message?

Click on their name, select ‘view profile’, on left side of profile is a link to send a private message.

I think you need a certain amount of posts before you can send a PM. I could be wrong about that, so somebody will probably correct me if I am wrong.

I believe you can send PM's right from the get-go as a registered member. You need a minimum of 30 messages to post an item for sale in the "Selling Used Gear" forum - unless you are a donating member.
