    Default Fishing along Bradley Fork

Will the water be too cold in October to wade in sandals?

Because the water is cold rain water and it never pools or gets direct sunlight, it's always cold.

Here is a link to a USGS site that gives water temps for Oconoluftee River. Since that is downstream, I imagine Bradley Fork is somewhat cooler.

It’s always cold, but only bearable to swim in the peak heat of summer (for me at least). In October it’d be a no go for me

For you fishermen what type flys would you use at the end of October?
