    Ocala National Forest expands list of temporarily shut down recreation areas
    In alignment with current federal, state and local guidance for social distancing and to ensure health safety of its employees, visitors and volunteers, the U.S. Forest Service will temporarily shut down additional recreation areas on the Ocala National Forest at 8 a.m. on April 11, 2020. Hunting and fishing opportunities remain available to the public. The recreation areas include: Developed, day use and primitive recreation areas; trails, including trailheads and off-highway vehicle corrals; boat ramp areas and U.S. Forest Service water access sites; and Silver Glen Recreation Area.
