Black Lab/red backpack LOST?

Has anyone seen a black lab with a red backpack wandering around the A.T. near Rt 9/Charles Town/Harpers Ferry WV area?
Or is anyone missing this dog?
He has been spotted several times by different neighbor but always comes back to the A.T. area.
He's afraid of everyone - so, difficult to get close to check ID.
If anyone has seen or knows of a lost black lab - please contact me. We are trying to find his owner.
It's been about 4 days now.

Good for you. Lost dogs on the trail are heart breaking.... especially during bear hunting season when you encounter a dog that looks like it has been in a Nazi concentration camp.
