Thanks for the tip! I googled and looks like amazon has this. Other than amazon do you know where this can be purchased?

I'm fairly certain I bought it at a Hannaford, local supermarket.

I purchased mine off Amazon.60 pkgs. in a box.A packet is fairly heavy for what it is so I sorta stretch mine out by using a half package in a cup with a tea bag.Makes a fairly unique little drink that suits my tastes.

Looks like I've got "Alpine" Original formula from the dollar store. It's like all suger and part flavoring. They threw in some Vitamin C, so that helps. Oh, it's got some apple juice solids too. It's okay, but not something I drink very often. I usually go for the hot chocolate if I want a hot drink.

My go to hot beverage is coffee. I’m trying to branch out and apple cider sounds nice. Sugar or not.

I never drink coffee - foul stuff ~shutter~. Sounds like this Alpine brand is common. It is a good pick-me-up on a cold morning or afternoon.

I went with it rather than have coffee at night because Cafe Bustelo keeps me awake.Tea is not quite as bad and I can get a couple servings out of a package that way.I like a hot drink at night;especially while waiting 20 minutes or so for something to cook in the freezer bag.

I find it on the tea/coffee isle at Walmart. I think Dollar Tree also has it.

I drank more of the Apple Cider in the warmer evenings at Shelters than coffee. Great after dinner Thru Hike drink in my opinion.

I only drink it on the trail. Too high calorie for real life, at least for me. I don't really drink caffeine, but a hot sugary drink on a cool evening helps keep you warm as you sleep. I drink unsweetened decaf tea, and various flavored herbal teas at home, which are perfectly "meh."
