    Try fastpacking. It is lighter and you may be able to go longer distances without pain. Even though you may want to use that system as many have said in some spots it son't work because of the terrain. Read up on it first. I get three day section hikes done in 1 because of this. This is not the same as a wheeled vehicle since you don't ride it. You people are ridiculous sometimes.

    Wheeled carts are prohibited on the AT in Great Smoky Mountains. They are generally prohibited thru out the park, but there are a few trails they are expressly allowed.
