Off hand, does anyone know of the closest GHound stop to Stecoah Gap? Considering starting a Bartram Tr SOBO here. Any other suggestions getting to Cheoah Bald?

You could start at Wallace Branch and hike the 5.5 north up to Cheoah, then back down again like starting Springer from the lot on FS42. There were several rafting places along the river next to the trailhead, so it would probably be easy to get a ride there.

Where is this Salty? If I go NOBO planning one resupply in total in Franklin averaging about 20-26/day. Wonder if that place could be a resupply too?
SOBO wed to the Foothills Tr and ending at Table Rock SP OR starting on the Foothills Tr ending somewhere after Cheoah Bald to get back to Atlanta. I'd rather not repeat any mileage. I guess if I went NOBO I could summit Cheoah and come back down the AT to the NOC. What's the shuttle situation from NOC? I never took a shuttle too/from there.
