The trip was a great success until a foot injury forced us off the trail a day early. The first day water was abundant but my steripen acted up so we had to ask for help along the way. There was just a trickle of water at slaughter creek trail going up blood mountain and then it was completely dry til we got off trail at tenastee gap. We carried 3 liters of water each from neels gap and of course the heavens opened up and I was able to fill my water bottles with runoff from my rainfly! It was a great trip and I appreciate all the input that helped get me out the door.
