Hello,
Any thoughts about the Dan Dursten Pack that is being offered at Massdrop.
Yes, the wait is a drag.
Yes, I hate buying a pack based on speculation.
I would love to hear others thoughts.
Best,
Floyd

Seems well thought out, but overbuilt.
Reminds me alot of the ULA Ohm. Not sure if I'd like the vest style straps (I tend to hike hot). The zipered pockets seem cool. Torso Length of the M/L is too short for me, and probably ALOT of people, only 19" (more a regular instead of Large).
I pulled the trigger on this one after some debate. Have been looking around for something lighter weight than the only pack I own: Osprey Atmos 50L. I was somewhat concerned about it not being "long enough" (my torso L is about 19"). I am also used to the off of the back ventilation of the Osprey. I have never filled my Osprey - I have never hiked more than 6 consecutive days and never in Winter - so the capacity should suffice.
Figured why not give it a shot for the price. If I hate it I can sell it and hope to at least break even.
Hipbelt wings instead of a proper full-wrap hipbelt, looks pretty decent otherwise, but that alone kills it for me.
