    Default Ursack AllMitey

Has anyone seamed sealed their AllMitey? If so, how and with what product?

    Thx

I don't believe the fabric of the bag itself is waterproof so sealing the seams would not serve a purpose.

    From the Ursack web site:
Water Resistant (treat seams with seam seal or they might leak)

Still not going to make it WP if that's the goal. Might make it more WR though.

The bag isn't WP. The "best practices" use of the bag is put all of your stuff in WP/odor proof bags. I guess the point of seam sealing is to reduce the amount of water that would get in the bag if the bag was left overnight in a driving rain storm.

My thought too. But, dont you Ziploc your food anyway before placing in the Ursack? I never weighed an All Mitey after it was left out all night in torrential rain but I don't witness the Major or Mitey which I've had or used or use each having one fabric component of the All Mitey)Laminated UHMWP and Kevlar) holding copious water wt.
