    Default Bitten

Found this book recommended in a local news article about tick diseases:

    https://www.amazon.com/Bitten-Histor.../dp/006289627X

Is this something new, or old and well known stuff?
Something to belive, or just fake?

Uh save your money, use Colemans insect repellent on your socks. The claim is 8 hours. Better than picking them off.
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

Since I've learned about Permethrin here on WB, I'm using similar stuff on my hiking trousers and never had a tick attatched to the skin any more.

But the book is not about, how to avoid ticks, its about how it came that ticks do carry Lyme.
