    Default bug mesh tent search

    looking for an inexpensive ($15 to $30 range) mesh bivy/tent that will either hang well on one side of a teepee tent [golite shangrila 3]
    or set up like in a pup tent shape..... Don't want extra small or extra big...'
    lighter would be better but cost prohibitive,,,

    Came across the friendly swede mesh on Amazon thus far..

    posted this in General, but found here and thought maybe get more leads...

    I have one and the actual weight does not match the advertised. Mine is 6.5 oz. But I still like it and is treated by Insectashield.

    Then you have the heavier one. Mine is around 3.3 in little sack, but yeah, i think they claim 2.5 for mine.

    Search for a "3F UL GEAR pedestiran silicon coating inner ultra light summer outdoor camping tent" on aliexpress. A bit heavy, mostly because the Chinese makers use silnylon rather than Cuben fiber, use excess fabric at overlap points, use heavy cord and extra tieouts, but you can get close to 11 oz. Mine cost very close to your $30 max, but obviously import prices are going up.
