Have you actually weighed this? I ask because the MH site and others list it at 4.8 oz...big difference from what you have posted, and would make it more tempting if the 4.8 oz is true.
Unfortunetly, the MH site is wrong. Its way off as you can see.
I even called MH before I bought the fleece to get a straight answer and they couldnt find the spec.
I wish people would double check this kinda thing. I even did the same thing with Kuiu, they were off on their specs too. Argh!
That's crazy on their part! No excuse for that. Thanks for the quick reply.

Ill give you a little info about the fit you may find helpful...
Compared to the Melanzana Micro-grid and Kuiu Peloton 97
The Micro-chill has the best fit out of all of them. The sleeves and torso length are perfect. Its not too tight (like the Kuiu) and not too baggy (like the Melly)
The hood isnt as awesome as the melly (but no hoody is...) but far superior to that of the Kuiu
Best of all, it is full zip with pockets. Neither hoody has those features at that weight
Hope thats helpful!
Iv been looking at these a while online. Whats body type that you say fit perfect for? May be interested....
I am 6'0, 160lbs
For me, the fit is just about perfect. Sleeve and torso length are spot on. It has just enough room for layering, but not so much room that it looks floppy. I can cross my arms and hold them over my head without creating tension across the back.
Pockets are placed well and deep enough to stash stuff or keep my hands out of the elements. The full zip is really nice to control heat loss/retention. The hood gets a B-, but much better than the Kuiu peloton 97 (Melanzana has the best hood in my opinion).
Another nice detail is the elastic cuffs, hem and hood brim
