    Default FS: Garmin inReach Explorer+

Info re this unit HERE on REI's website.

I've had it about a year and performance is excellent. It has a couple of small scratches on the screen and some small scuffs on the rubber, but is in excellent shape. Garmin_inReach_Explorer+.jpg

Includes original box, recharge/data cable, web/belt clip, Garmin carabiner. I don't have the original tiny instruction manual but have printed out a manual from Garmin's website, which I will include.

    $275 CONUS, which includes shipping.

Given that you just started trying to sell today... I've got to ask... did it survive the GPS Time Rollover this weekend?

Nice piece of kit. I'd much rather have that than the Spot 3 I've currently got. Good luck with the sale!

Seems a bit unlikely for a 2 year old unit, don't you think?

I haven't turned it on, but the GPS on my phone is working so I'm pretty sure this does as well. I read about that a few weeks before the GPS rollover and reportedly it might affect older devices. I haven't read anything about it online, and you just KNOW if there were any related incidents that our esteemed "news" people would have blown it into a major story already.

Agreed... but the timing was just too humorous to not ask.

I guess that after all the Y2K hooplah that fizzled mightily "news" organizations were a little more restrained in their predictions of the collapse of civilization.
