    Default Great Divide Trail 2019

Anybody thru hiking the GDT this summer? Really wanna hike this trail but thinks its a little too wild of a trail for me to go it alone. Anybody have advice on hiking solo or planning on getting out there this summer?

I'd seek advice elsewhere based on first hand personal GDT thru hiking accounts.

There have been several GDT thru write ups posted on line.

If you can arrange the transportation, Start or End at Mt. Robson Provincial Park, BC. The Berg Lake Trail alone is worth the trip.
Low water season is your best bet for timing.

Have you read anything about Kakwa and the porcupines?
I reckon that if you make it past Robson Pass you can make it to
    Kakwa. Good luck up there.
