Doing dicks creek to rock gap over thanksgiving- read that bears are prevalent in that area - is a bear can needed or are there cables at the shelters? My book doesn’t list cables so I’m assuming they don’t have them. Don’t want to carry the can but finding decent trees to do the pct hang method is challenging
