I was in Shenandoah National Park (Dickey Ridge area) this morning. Lots of brown/yellow leaves covering the trail. Nothing much but green in the trees. By the way, saw a mama bear and 2 cubs. Stay alert!

Leaves in Delaware Water Gap this weekend were-a-changing - about 50% there thanks to this cold. Then I got sleeted on for a few hours.

Hiked the AT in the Harper's Ferry area this past weekend. Change is starting but it's super slow! I'm guessing with the really cold air we got on Saturday night / Sunday, it will start speeding up.

Was on the northern end of the park today. Saw some yellows and reds, maybe 10% turned.

Leaves are done here in central Ontario, north of Toronto. 7 cm heavy wet snow accumulating tonight, so it’s a good things most leaves are down on the ground.

(Have you ever thought of falling leaves as being akin to a tree ‘going to the bathroom? … Think about that one, says this botanist!)

Found a much better website which adjusts to reality and is broken down by region:
