DC Shuttle
Need Shuttle from DC airport to Shenandoah NP any suggestions. Looked at the list but does not show that route.
Union Station Amtrak to Harpers, shuttle from there as there are several operating there who go N and S along the AT.
depending upon where OP is going in the Park----harpers ferry might not be the best place....
amtrak runs to culpeper and might be able to get ride from there....
Look at flights into Dulles (IAD) because it’s farther west therefore closer to the trail/possible shuttles. Reagan (DCA) is closer to the city.
I’ll drive you if you can’t make anything else work.
Not sure where you want to go in Shenandoah NP - north, central or south section? There is a bus that leaves from Union Station or Dulles and stops in Front Royal (easy shuttle or hitch to north section) and in Staunton (shuttle or bus to Waynesboro to south section). Amtrak also runs from DC to Charlottesville (shuttle to central section) or to Staunton (bus or shuttle to south section). Bus schedule here http://www.catchthevabreeze.com/
