I found I prefer the HG quilt of my EE...seems warmer both at 20* and current mods

What I like about the EE quilts is their pad attachment system...it is by far the best out there.

Have you seen Katabatic's quilt and pad attachment system? Of the EE and Kat quilts I've had or do have Kats attachment system is better. Far more $$$ though than EE offerings.

EE offers a lot of quilt value for the $ though. EE's getting into apparel now that deserves a second look. I like their Copperfield wind shirt, synthetic booties, synthetic ear flap hats, and mitts. About time a synthetic Blackrock high end down like beanie was made from light synthetic insulation.
