Do we know yet if the bear had anything to do with the death?

While we won't know for sure until an autopsy report is released, the wording of the original press release seems to suggest there were no obvious signs (such as defensive wound marks) the bear was responsible for the death.

Sorry, I've edited my post... I sort of stated that like I knew what was going on. My intention was to try to give a possible simple explanation of how we got to the bear is dead but he isn't, why did they let the bear go?, etc. Too many people seemed to have a hard time figuring out what happened, so I wanted to give a simple explanation.
Sorry the details came across as if I knew exact facts that I do not.

If it's incorrect, then it's fake. The reason, explanation, intention, source, etc., of the incorrect facts are irrelevant. It's fake. Your logic would imply that identical content can be either "news" or "fake news" depending on the identity of the creator of the content. 1+1=2 exactly 100% of the time and does not depend on the identity of who reveals the equation.

1+1=11 is also correct.
1+1+1= 111 is incorrect, though it's arguable.
So 1+1=2 isn't exactly 100% correct.
But I can see that 11=2 is also correct.

Two things----preliminary autopsy came back inconclusive on cause of death...

also---Rangers told victims family that the bear was killed Tuesday night...

so internal miscommunication is why the confusion over that...

But I would think they would be able to determine whether a bear likely killed the man much, much more quickly than that.
