    Default Free REI tent

    Free tent.

Here is a similar one on ebay:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/REI-TENT/12...4AAOSwLfRbSsRN

Probably 25years old, but worth at least twice MY price!

I will cover shipping if you promise to either join WB if not a member, or make some other kind of contribution to a good cause equivalent to the postage on the box. But only if you like the tent.

The guy on eBay didn’t know how to put on the fly!

FWIW, this tent is very serviceable for two + people, but probably weighs 7 or 8 pounds (just a guess) so not appropriate for today’s LD hiker, of course.

    Default Free REI tent

Would be happy to give my brother a new to him tent, he is a 5’6” man who sleeps in a kids tent because he “fits” and refuses to buy a new one. He will be joining WB immediately.

    Cyder,

Just send me a PM with your address in a day or two, and I will get this out this week.

I can say for a fact that the tent worked well in Rocky Mountain National Park!

Nice! I’ve been to RMNP a couple times as I used to live in Colorado!

If this is still available. I’m a Boy Scout Scoutmaster and can always use gear.
