I am still too close to my retirement to post a face shot. Years of undercover narcotics work still leaves me a little jumpy. I still sleep with a gun and sleep very lightly.

Zombie Dust? Did someone say Zombie Dust??
Obviously some devious Russian attempt to get me to reveal my Real Self.

Fantastic idea Gambit, thanks for starting this! I think it really does help discussions when you have a face to go with that name.
So many choices of pics to share, but here's a couple from our "eclipse climb" of the Grand Teton last August (climbed it one day, hung out to watch the eclipse the next). The two on the left are my wife and myself, both pics.
Zombie Dust and Gumball Head are 2 of the finer delicacies in life not available here in Tennessee. I have tried and tried to get some of these tasty brews over the years but their elusive tendencies have prevailed and my attempts at snagging a couple sixer's has been a short fall. Makes me very sad to the point I have no more tears to shed for the Zombie Dust and Gumball Head.

ah I don't care. I've posted more than 100 trip reports on line. I've been in so many of Tipi Walters trip reports that I've been recognized on-trail about 5 or 6 times now. I admit it is a little unnerving when total strangers walk up and say "Patman?" Uh....yes?
Here is Susan and me from one month ago:

There's me, slackin' my way through Baxter State Park and perfecting my cairn game
I thought it didn't upload my first attempt, but there ya go. You get two. Whoops!
The Many Faces of Patman!!!
We always hike armed and let everyone we see know we're packing---our guns.
Atop Hangover Mt with Patman left, Uncle Sphincter middle and John Quillen right. Johnny boy just summitted Mt Everest a couple weeks ago!!!!!!

Yeah, did you read the story about him and his team helping the Sherpa that was hit by an oxygen tank and no one else would stop to help him? That place is crazy.
I'm still waiting for swisscross to post the photo he texted me and asked if that should be the one he should share...
Yes, here's his website---
