Default Anyone try the Salomon Odyssey Pro Triple Crown Trail Magic shoes?

    I loved the name.

But was curious about fit, etc for them.

Not sure I can live up to that name though

Lots of very short promo comments on-line ... just not more that I’ve found yet.

I don't believe the "Triple Crown Trail Magic" version of the "Odyssey Pro" is available yet for public consumption.

Look interesting. I like that a trail runner is now being designed with long distance hiking in mind...it doesn't seem like companies have paid much attention to how many LD hikers wear TRs vs boots these days.

I wonder if they are claiming that they won't wear out as quickly as typical trail runners on a thru-hike

Yep. I've a friend who has been through four pairs so far on her hike on the AT (Lady Di is her trail name).

Green ones look nice, but 10mm drop is a no-go for me.
    I'll stick with my Altras.

I'd be embarrassed to wear something with a name like that, even if I was working on a triple crown.
