I have no actual first hand recent knowledge about water conditions on this section of trail. However, I live a short distance from this area. We have been getting tons of recent rain and I suspect the creeks and springs at higher altitudes are flowing just as well as all the lower altitude sources in this area. Hope this helps. Enjoy your hike.

A recent trip in the Smokies showed strong water flows at the known watering holes.
As daddytwosticks says, the general area has been getting plenty of rain lately.
