Similar to Franco's suggestion, I'd suggest buying a pair of these Cascade Tech poles and stripping one of them down.

Trekking pole supported tent makers sell adjustable poles for their tents for folks like you. TarpTent, Light Heart Gear, etc.
I wanted new trekking poles and a TarpTent StratoSpire 1 for backpacking and bike touring. I bought folding carbon Komperdells. They work for me.

The poles we (TT) and other cottage makers sell are of a fixed size. Some have extenders but not the adjustable type.
Ruta Locura do offer CF poles and do have an 8" adjustable section but are out of stock of the poles .
Still it could be worth contacting them .

Before buying the Cascade Designs trekking poles and stripping down I'd buy a cheap $10 - $15 telescopic CF or fiberglass med- med heavy wt telescopic fishing pole. Using just the thicker sections near the butt of the fishing pole you should get a strong enough 42-50" pole at less wt and cost. Ditch the rod handle by hax sawing off. Apply rubber end caps for leg tables or doorstops with a dab of epoxy found at HD or Lowes in the hardware aisle. I've made several bungeed collapsable tarp poles from used carbon and fiberglass golf clubs bought at Goodwill for $2 each. Cut the tapered golf club into equal sections. Bungee, AL end caps, and AL ferrule connectors were bought from Quest Outfitters.https://www.questoutfitters.com/Tent...Fiberglass.htm ands DAC https://www.dacpole.com/tent-accessories
