    Default Aquablazing

Looking to do a river trip soon with some friends from Luray to Front Royal. Does anyone have any info on kayaking the Shenandoah river for a few days?

There are a few rough patches, especially right now with all the rain we’ve gotten. I don’t know how far into front royal you want to come, but there are a couple dams on the Winchester side that you would need to walk around. It’s a wonderful trip, there are a number of campgrounds along the river to stop at.

The amount of chicken and cow poop in that river right now must be astronomical given the rain we've had. Mind any open sores if you're going to do it.
